About Me
- Name: Scoops
- Location: Herstmonceux, East Sussex, United Kingdom
Well, as those of you reading this no doubt already know, I'm spending May and June in Europe travelling, and studying at a castle in the UK. This blog is intended to document my (mis)adventures and, hopefully, to provide a measure of entertainment to my beloved readers. Also, be sure to check back for when I finally get around to finishing my Washington D.C. saga. But don't hold your breath.

short, yet somehow....short!
Will I open this book in the middle? In my life I most often feel as if I am doing that anyway.
Sir Scott of Gisbourne,
Rather than Dickens, I might have selected, oh, Sir Walter SCOTT!!! But nevermind... could have been worse - you could have picked Chaucer, and we'd have to drag ourselves kicking and screaming through olde English...
I am delighted to see that Herstmonceux Castle is *almost* as spectacular as the *original* Hearst Castle, located, as you know, in San Luis Obispo, California...
Rgds, etc.,
Brigadier General Wynn-Candy, (Ret.),(Deceased)
